movies and tv programs, like charmed, or books and movies like harry potter that must be avoided at all costs.
because they are a direct link to demonism and spiritism.

i let my jw son use my 4x4 truck to go north on a snowboarding trip, so i borrowed his car...i find several pages of wt cd printouts, and as i was driving scanned them a bit.
nearly ran off the road when i saw this review question.

Asked a deep question to my father last night

i know what the answer is to the question, but i need to hear it from the horses mouth.
so in my 30th hour of being awake i get the courage to dial 411 and call my father whos an elder that i havent spoken to for 10 years.

Yeah yeah, mind control, poor them? No no, poor you, poor me, poor all of us. Someone has told them to shun their children, even in their old age when they might need us, and they said 'ok'. That's called 'having no natural affection'.
It's a fair question. If they count us as dead as we have had to mourn for them as dead, then you have the right to ask that and their assumptions are their own. If you continue to contact them, they'll make it out like you were trying to get attention byt 'threatening to kill yourself'. That's the evil jw mind.

Yes. I wrote and asked, Respectfully I ask, please tell me: Which does Jehovah hate more, A divorce or spousal abuse?
They responded, "Both are willful sins that can result in a person losing his relationship with Jehovah" . . .etc, but that was the whole jist of the letter, about what can happen when one loses such.
I flipped! and wrote back: "Excuse me please, but you say . . .>the above<. . .without knowing the circumstance, do you see a problem with that? A Christian wife is abused by her husband for 27 years, she finally files for divorce and leaves him, and is abused further by her congregation and family. So again, respectfully I ask you, Which does Jehovah hate more, A divorce or spousal abuse?" They didn't respond, but sent the local elders to our house, who then emailed me: Is this your letter, is there an abuse problem in your home?" I couldn't believe it.
(Our other sister actually saw her in Costco and accused her of adultery and screamed at her " Jehoho hates a divorcing!")
